Regional Culture Recommendations This medium, dark-leafed line is production friendly in the West, as our trials only require chlormequat chloride spray at 500 ppm 2 weeks after transplant to make a nice plant habit. In the Midwest, where there are lower light conditions, we suggest chlormequat chloride spray at 750 ppm 2 weeks after transplant to give the plants more tone.
